Network Administration II

In this course students will advance their base knowledge and skills by learning to configure, manage and troubleshoot enterprise services such as DNS, DHCP, RRAS, IPSec, DFS, WSUS, IPv6, NAP, and new server performance monitoring tools. Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting business server operating systems as part of a computer systems network represents a good portion of a network administrator's tasks. By successfully completing this course, students will have exposure to the type of duties expected of network administrators. This course prepares students to continue their server operating system education in the NETW 6100 course in semester 5.
