New Media Design III

Continuing on from New Media Design II, students will focus on the development of responsive websites using advanced HTML5 and CSS3 coding techniques. CSS3 animations, Javascript and jQuery coding resources will be explored to bring web design concepts to life. The principles and elements of design will be heavily emphasized in order to develop intuitive web experiences. Students will be introduced to accessible design fundamentals and the relation to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA, 2005). Collaboration with other graphic design projects will assist in creating a robust and well-rounded portfolio for Year 2 assessments.
