New Media Design IV

The essence of all New Media Design courses is to utilize technology and various digital platforms to share information in exciting and innovative ways. The objectives of this course are to provide students with the opportunity to develop integrated, robust projects between other courses and to select and apply a range of corresponding new media platforms. Development of responsive websites will continue with advanced layout practices, alongside project explorations in augmented reality and/or motion graphics. Students will be introduced to UX (user-experience) design practices alongside accessible design fundamentals as they apply to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA, 2005).
