Students engage with sponsors who may be located on and off campus to work on projects identified as a business/operational requirement aligned with the organisations strategic plan. The course design is founded on experiential education allowing students to demonstrate the skills and abilities they have developed over the entirety of the Project Management program. Practicing project management through active projects provides students with experiential learning while applying their knowledge and skills within a professional environment. During this course student's exhibit teamwork, collaboration, research skills, apply their project management knowledge, planning, oral and written communications and understanding of how project management as well as many other disciplines are essential to project success. The completion of the project teaches students essential organizational, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
