Theories Of Criminal Behaviour

Students examine the causes of criminal and deviant behaviour in terms of psychological theories and suppositions, including psycho physiologic, psychoanalytic, behavioural, cognitive and biological theories. As well, students explore the similarities and differences across theories and research findings, and the relationship between theories and criminal justice policy.
