Security I

This course provides an opportunity for students to practice security concepts and skills needed for the installation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of intermediary network devices. Skills learned will include those required to maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data and devices whether they are being accessed from inside or outside of an enterprise network. This course assists in preparing for the CCNA Security certification. Current market analysis indicates networking, and more specifically internetworking, is in very large demand with security being a major concern in this area. From corporations to small office sites and even home offices, there is a growing need to secure systems.
