Partnership In Sport
This course builds upon prior marketing knowledge gained throughout the sport administration program and provides an overview of partnerships with a focus on the sport sponsorship process from the point of view of partners and sport properties. Once research has been done to understand client objectives and how properties can meet these, assets must be created, assessed an appropriate valuation and proposals are designed and presented. Once an agreement is reached partnerships must be properly executed, evaluated and revised as necessary to meet the objectives of all parties. Students will gain professional experience through the application of marketing, sales, research, analytical, and presentation skills in the development, delivery and receipt of multiple partnership documents.
