Typography III

This course will expand on the basic typographic disciplines learned Typography 1 and 2, and will show typography to be truly an art form and a major component of the design process. To this end the course will strive to combine typography and the disciplines of layout/design into practical, senior level design projects. The students will have an opportunity through theory, hands-on execution and final critique to exercise their creative and technical ability and at the same time develop a stronger appreciation for the many diverse aspects of typography and its communications value.
