Campus ID

Campus ID Office is currently closed. We are working to reduce the need for face-to-face contact for card production.


Please note: Students registered in the winter semester will not be charged for the UPass in their payment of fees. As such, please be advised that your Durham College student ID will not be valid as a bus pass for Durham Region Transit for the duration of the semester.

If using public transit, you will be required to pay the applicable rates when entering the bus.

Campus ID Services office is working remotely during the pandemic, and as such our usual business is not currently offered for in-person services on campus.

Any questions about Campus ID cards, as a DC student, faculty or staff member, can be directed to and a response to your inquiry will be delivered via email.

We will update our on-campus services in step with college operations and public health directives.


DC Card photo submission

  • As a Durham College student who will be attending campus, we want to make sure your DC Card is prepared for you to pick up at a designated location. Instructions for pick up will follow, in a confirmation email, once the form is successfully submitted. The DC card can be used for a variety of services and programs on and off campus.

    Since you will be on DC property, you must also submit a photo online to be used on your DC Card. To avoid having your photo rejected, please make sure to follow our photo upload requirements. Otherwise, you’ll be required to submit a new one.

    This is your opportunity to take or choose the photo which will appear on your DC Card. There are specific photo requirements, please make sure you follow the instructions listed below. If your photo does not follow these guidelines, it will be rejected, and you will be required to resubmit.

    Photo upload requirements:

    • Background must be white or a light solid colour.
    • Photo must be in colour.
    • You must be the only person in the picture.
    • Photo must show a full, front view of the face and top of shoulders, squared to the camera.
    • No hats, head coverings (except for religious purposes) or sunglasses.
    • No inappropriate clothing or gestures (i.e. If you would not share this photo with a parent/guardian or future employer, you should not submit it to us).
    • No photos from graduation.
    • Feel free to smile.
  • Accepted file types: jpg, gif, png, pdf, jpeg.
    Allowed file extensions: jpg, gif, png.

Your personal information may also be used for various administrative, statistical and/or research purposes of the College and/or ministries and agencies of the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada.
