Please be advised that the annual electrical infrastructure preventative maintenance and repair will take place at the Oshawa campus this Saturday, July 4 from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This work is required to ensure continued safe and reliable power to the campus.
During this maintenance period, all buildings at the Oshawa campus – except the Student Services Building and Simcoe Residence – will be closed as they will have minimal emergency power available. As a result, no employee, student or visitor activities can take place in the closed buildings during this time.
Additionally, there will be no telecommunication or computer service available onsite. However, DC websites and other services hosted in the data centre will remain available remotely (including through VPN/Banner).
If required, due to inclement weather, an alternate date is scheduled for Saturday, July 11.
