At Durham College (DC), your mental health and well-being are priorities year-round. And today, on Bell Let’s Talk Day, we are joining this valuable conversation as an opportunity to help break down the stigma and raise awareness around mental health.

We are here to help you with any mental health needs you may have, including physical, social and financial support. You can access so many services andresources available on campus.

Prioritize your mental health with:

  1. DC’s online Wellness Directory that provides direct access to all the wellness supports and resources available at the college.
  2. Support from a variety of mental health services and offerings, led by medical professionals.
  3. Trusted professionals to talk to about your academics through the Access and Support Centre, Campus Health and Wellness Centre, or the First Peoples Indigenous Centre.
  4. Groups, workshops, and events that cover everything from yoga and mindfulness to self-compassion and food literacy.
  5. Wellness and mental health episodes from Riot Radio’s Wellpod@DC.
  6. Intermural, sport clubs and fitness classes in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre or in DC’s FLEX Fitness Centres.
  7. Recovery College, a Wellness Learning Hub partnership with Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, that you can join to share your mental health journey.
