To adhere to best practices, Durham College (DC) Teams sites that have been dormant will be set to expire. DC Teams sites will be set with a default expiry of 12 months, and sites inactive for more than one year will be scheduled for expiration. This change is effective August 1, 2024.
Teams site owners will receive email notifications for site renewals at 30 days, 15 days and one day before the team’s expiration date, unless the site is renewed. When the owner receives the notification, they can click ‘Renew Now’ in Teams settings to renew the team. If the site ownership is undefined, any Team member can renew the site simply by accessing the site.
Students and employees are required to keep login credentials private. IT Services will never ask you for your password. If you forget your password, or exceed the maximum number of failed login attempts, you can use the self-service password reset at durhamcollege.ca/reset.
