Durham College (DC) IT Services continues to modernize systems infrastructure to provide better business functionality to the user community.

As part of that effort, effective November 21, IT Services has upgraded the user authentication experience to Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft cloud applications.  This change ensures availability of the M365 and cloud services for DC users provided they can access the internet.

As a result, the recommended student sign-in experience will change. Student M365 Web Client users should access M365 services by visiting https://office.com

Students are encouraged to discontinue use of  http://www.dcmail.ca/ to log in to their DC M365 services.  The access link through http://www.dcmail.ca/  will still work, however users may see the following prompt asking if they trust dcmail.ca:

If users are presented with the prompt asking if they trust dcmail.ca or durhamcollege.ca, they should select “Continue”.

All users should continue to keep login credentials private. IT Services will never ask you for your password. If you forget your password, or exceed the maximum number of failed login attempts, passwords can be reset using the self-service portal at https://www.durhamcollege.ca/reset.  In the event you require assistance with the Microsoft Authenticator app, IT Service Desk is available for support. The IT Service Desk can be reached via phone at 905.721.3333, by email at servicedesk@durhamcollege.ca, or at https://servicedesk.dc-ot.ca
