Earlier in June, we announced exciting changes how Durham College (DC) organizes programs and refers to academic departments improving the college’s operations and further strengthening the exceptional educational experience we provide to our students.
Here’s what you need to know:
- The departmental term ‘Schools’ (i.e. School of Business, IT & Management) has now changed to ‘Faculties’ (i.e. Faculty of Business).
- Some programs will move from their original academic school to a new faculty.

- Faculty of Health Sciences
- Faculty of Hospitality & Horticultural Science
- Faculty of Liberal Studies
- Faculty of Media, Art & Design
