Conversation Circle - a free, weekly meeting for students to get together to share cultural perspectives and talk about topics that interest them. It was created for students with English as a Second or Additional Language (ESL/EAL) to practice English conversation in an inclusive atmosphere, but it is open to all Durham College students.
The Conversation Circle has moved online to the Zoom platform and begins in Week 3 of the fall and winter semesters. For information about how to join, contact Eric.Gustavsen@durhamcollege.ca from your Durham College email account.
Students can apply for a peer tutor in up to two courses per semester. We do our best to ensure we have a broad representation of subjects and courses with our peer tutors; however, we cannot guarantee that a peer tutor will be available for every course. Students should apply early in the semester to benefit from peer tutoring.
We encourage you to review and become familiar with Durham College’s academic policies and procedures in your student handbook or online at: www.durhamcollege.ca/policies
