A Verification of Graduation (VOG) serves as an official copy of your graduation status at Durham College. This document includes your name, student number, program of study, credential type, and graduation status.

- Log into your MyDC account, select the Verification of Graduation option and submit your request.
- Wait 5-10 minutes to receive an email notification from MyCreds™ when your Verification of Graduation is ready to be shared.
- Log in to MyCreds™ through the email you are sent.
- Purchase your Verification Letter
- Purchase your letter from MyCreds™ to view your Verification of Graduation and authorize the release of your Verification of Graduation to your chosen destination.

Please note, your verification of graduation letter will reflect the current graduation status. Your graduation status will not be updated until 2 weeks prior to the official graduation date, which is listed under important dates.

A Verification of Graduation (VOG) is available once the student has graduated. If a VOG is needed prior to the official graduation date, a student can request an early eligibility to graduate letter. Please read the information below.
domestic students
Domestic students request an early eligibility to graduate letter by completing an Official documentation request form and submitting to convocation@durhamcollege.ca.
international students
International students requesting an early eligibility to graduate letter must provide proof of a full-time job offer or proof of the study permit expiring before the graduation date.
Full-time job offer
Please complete an Official documentation request form and submit to convocation@durhamcollege.ca along with proof of the job offer in PDF format, on company letterhead, and contain all of the following information:
- Name of the company
- Title of the position
- Title, contact email and phone number of the reporting manager or HR representative
- Work hours must state that the position is full-time or at least 30 hours per week
Study permit expiring
Please complete an Official documentation request form and submit to convocation@durhamcollege.ca along with proof of study permit expiring.

Applied - Under Review: your status after you submit a graduation application
Approved - Not Yet Awarded: you are graduated and have not yet been awarded the credential
Not Eligible: you have not met all the program requirements necessary to graduate
Sought: you are in the process of completing the necessary requirements to graduate
CA: Certificate Awarded
DA: Diploma Awarded
UA: Degree Awarded
The fee for each Verification of Graduation is $16, plus tax. Fees are charged in Canadian dollars. Payments are non-refundable.
Learners can share the VOG for an unlimited amount of times for free within the access period (180 days). The VOG can also be downloaded as a permanent copy.
All purchases made within MyCreds™ will require your residential address and your billing address associated with your payment card to meet Canada Revenue Agency requirements. Your billing address postal code must match the postal code associated with your bank’s payment card, otherwise your payment will be rejected.
The MyCreds™ Learner portal accepts all common credit card brands as method of payment. Payment is made directly to MyCreds™ and is non-refundable. After purchase, you will see a purchase confirmation notice on the screen, and you will also receive an email confirmation. MyCreds™ is owned by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC); you will see MyCreds™ or ARUCC on communications and credit card statements.
Please note, when paying for a share credit, banks hold funds which are released in 24 to 72 hours when a credit card is not successfully entered (i.e. the billing address is not keyed in as an exact match to the billing address on the credit card statement.
Once requested, students can expect to receive the link to their digital document within 5-10 minutes.
