Faculty-led classrooms abroad A Faculty-led Classroom Abroad (FLCA) involves students travelling with faculty to another country to gain global experience and apply and refine their skills internationally. These for-credit opportunities are typically 10 to 12 days in length. Faculty, in collaboration with the International Education Office, customize unique learning experiences that aim to bridge the curriculum with the local resources. Faculty Students “My time abroad taught me a lot about different cultures. How people in different parts of the world live, the food they eat and their way of life. I learned a lot about Peruvian cuisine and how to prepare these meals. It was very informative and I learned a lot.” Yanique Saunders – Culinary Arts
