Domestic Refunds
Withdrawals
Durham College's domestic student withdrawal/refund policy complies with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) regulations.
If for any reason you wish to withdraw, you must officially notify the college in writing by completing and submitting a Domestic Program Withdrawal form to central@durhamcollege.ca. The official date of withdrawal will be noted as the date the withdrawal form is received.
Refunds
Refunds due to a withdrawal are issued to students who submit a withdrawal form before/on Day 10 of the semester, less the $500 non-refundable deposit for new students.
If during your studies you have a credit on your account and wish to receive a refund, please email central@durhamcollege.ca including your name and student ID number.
Any eligible refunds will take 2-3 weeks and you will receive your refund as a Bank E-transfer to your dc mail email account from our Finance Department.
For students whose fees have been paid by OSAP or a sponsoring agency, refunds will be sent to the appropriate agency.
