Water influences every aspect of our world, whether we know it or not. This unique course invites participants to reflect on their personal connection to the earth’s water resources through developing awareness of how water connects us all and through examining water issues and their influence on our lives. The course will cover a range of water-related topics, including water science, the value of water from a variety of perspectives, and how/why changes to the water system creates rippling impacts, both locally and globally. Upon completion of the course, participants will have enhanced awareness of water systems and their place within them and feel empowered to be more actively engaged in solutions to water-related issues that impact them and those around them.
