How to Apply Before you begin your application process make sure to review all program information, admission requirements, and any other additional applicant requirements. If you meet or will meet the requirements upon graduation you may proceed with applying online through ontariocolleges.ca (the Ontario Colleges Application Centre). You can apply up to five program choices with no more than three choices at one college. A $110 fee must accompany your application. To be assured equal consideration for your program of choice, your application, and all supporting documents must be received by ontariocolleges.ca no later than February 1 for a fall start, October 1 for a winter start, and February 1 for a spring start. After those dates, qualified applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, provided there are program vacancies. The Equal Consideration Deadline (ECD) is very important for highly competitive programs. Highly competitive programs receive more applications than there are seats available in a program. Program applications will be accepted until a program is full and a waitlist is established. Durham College accepts applications for admission up to the 5th day of classes, as long as there are seats available. For detailed information about the application process, please visit ontariocolleges.ca. If you are applying from high school, please contact your high school guidance for assistance.
