Project management is about delivering change and getting things done. PRINCE2 methodology is a controlled, standardized approach to managing projects ensures consistency and improved delivery organization wide.

PRINCE2 is for all organizations and individuals involved in project management, who need a structured approach to managing projects or project management skills that can be applied to any type of project, regardless of its size, complexity or industry, or delivery context. It provides a clearly defined structure and easy to follow steps for organizing, managing and controlling projects, resulting in improved project success.

The Foundation level course is designed to introduce the PRINCE2 method, providing sufficient knowledge and understanding to work effectively within a PRINCE2 supporting environment.

Who Should Attend
PRINCE2 7 has been developed to be accessible to anyone who needs critical project management skills, to deliver successfully in any role. PRINCE2 7 is for you, if you are:

  • A Project Manager (certified or uncertified), using a specific project management method, or a Programme Manager,
  • Portfolio Manager, Head of PMO, Change Manager, Head of Operations, PMO Support, or PMO Analyst,
  • A professional who needs project management skills in your everyday work life e.g. HR/Payroll Manager, Engineer,
  • Architect, Service Designer, Software Developer, Marketing Executive, Finance administrator, or Product Manager.

    PRINCE2® FOUNDATION, 7th edition (3 days)
    Participants should have some knowledge of project management. Participants should complete the required pre-reading in the PRINCE2 7th Edition textbook. The textbook is part of the course package and will be provided to participants upon enrollment.

  • Notes:

  • Enrollment for this course will close 2 weeks prior to the course start date. No late enrollments will be permitted.
  • There is pre-reading required for this course. The textbook will be provided one week prior to the course start date.
  • Additional work outside of class hours will be required throughout the course.
  • This course is delivered virtually through an interactive online platform in conjunction with Algonquin College. You require access to a computer with high-speed internet and camera for the duration of each class. By enrolling in this course, you consent to the sharing of your personal information with Algonquin College for registration purposes.
  • An exam voucher is included with the cost of the course.
  • Withdrawals are only accepted up to 10 business days prior to the course start date (withdrawal fees will apply). No refunds or withdrawals are permitted after this date.

    Take2 Re-sit Exam Service is included with this course:
    This course includes the Take2 re-sit exam service. That means if you are unsuccessful in taking the exam, you can re-sit (retake) your exam within 6 months of your initial exam date. You will be notified by e-mail that a re-sit exam is available and you will be invited to schedule it and take it exclusively through PeopleCert Online Proctoring from the comfort of your home or office (webcam required).
