Cloud computing has become a key business capability and is part of the corporate strategy of many large and small enterprises leveraging Office 365 or other cloud applications. Keeping up-to-date on cloud computing is now important in order to remain competitive in today’s highly advanced high tech environment. However, due to concerns about the security and privacy of the cloud, many enterprises are proceeding cautiously with a risk-based approach to implementation.
Throughout the course, students will learn the terminologies, service models and deployment models of cloud computing, while keeping security and privacy concerns at the fore. In addition, students will be able to develop a business case for the cloud and an implementation roadmap for an enterprise.
Note: It is strongly recommended that students enrolling in this course have a robust computer / IT background and ideally possess a diploma or degree in the field of computers.
This course is delivered online over ten weeks.
