In Curriculum Development III, students will use the principles and guidelines of curriculum development to design, implement and evaluate inclusive and play-based programs that support children’s holistic development- physical cognitive/language, and social/emotional . Emphasis will continue to be placed on the roles of play, creativity and literacy in the development of curriculum. Areas of exploration will be specific to children between birth and 12 years. Within this age range a variety of subjects related to the cognitive domain will be studied. Note: Students must sign on to DC Connect at http://www.durhamcollege.ca/connect using their student number and password (birthdate MMDDYR) to access the online courses. You will not be able to access the course until the start date. Please allow 24 hours after registration for the system to update.
