Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Certification

Does your company have 20 or more employees? Under the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), most workplaces of this size are required to have an internal health and safety representative who has been certified by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) of the Ministry of Labour, Training & Skills Development. This two-part course is a CPO-approved program, delivered by approved training provider 4S Consulting. Successful participants will receive a Certified JHSC Member certificate from the Ministry's CPO.

Notes:

This online course in delivered in two 15-hour modules. The first module is delivered asynchronously (self directed learning at your own pace). Once registered you will receive instructions on how to access the online course. After completing the first module you will be prompted to sign up for the second module which is offered weekly and delivered online synchronously (instructor led).
