This compressed 7-week course will prepare you to challenge the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) exam 2. Each week will be dedicated to a portion of the test criteria, and studied in detail to prepare you for the exam. By successfully passing both CSC® 1 & 2 exams fulfills the base securities licensing requirement for IIROC and the provincial regulatory and MFDA licensing requirements for mutual funds sales, alternative mutual funds products, managed future funds, exempt securities and labour-sponsored investment funds. You will write the Canadian Securities Course exam 2 with the Canadian Securities Institute as your final exam of this course.

Notes:

The Canadian Securities Institute requires a minimum passing grade of 60% on the CSC exam.

Students MUST pay an addiitonal fee to the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) to access the textbook and course materials to complete this course (please click here for details). Note, purchasing details will be provided once the course begins and Durham College students will receive a 12% discount.

This course includes an optional live online weekly discussion with the facilitator. This will provide students an opportunity to ask questions and clarify any concepts they may be finding difficult. Note, to participate fully in these sessions a microphone/camera is required. Be advised these sessions will be recorded and posted to the course shell for students that are unable to attend.
