This course is designed to assist the student with his or her field placement search and career planning. Students will engage in discussion with the field placement officer and professor regarding mandatory field placement documentation needed to attend placement in semester II. Students will update their resumes, cover letters and practice interview skills As well, students will attend seminars presented by Career Services on portfolio development and using employment related social media in order to obtain employment in the victim service field. This course will examine the skills necessary to be successful in the Victim Service Field. Time will be allocated to researching and securing a field placement host.
Textbook includes a $30 non-tax deductible fee.
