Law Clerk - Corporate

LAW 3281

Prerequisite: 2 years law office experience recommend. This course examines the various types of business ownerships, placing particular emphasis on corporate/administrative procedures involved in preparing and filing articles of incorporation, organizing a corporation by way of a minute book, preparing/filing relevant incorporation related documents relating to the composition of a corporation, financing issues and relevant searches and share purchase agreements. Students should be familiar with the Act(s) governing the formation and operation of a corporation. Students must register through ILCO to write the final exam, scheduled for June 29, 2020. Tuition fee includes the cost of the syllabus which will be provided online.


Post-secondary equivalent: LAW 1203, LAW 2205

NOTE: Students must register through ILCO to write the final exam, scheduled for July 8, 2021. Students wanting to sit this exam must complete and submit the exam registration form to ILCO prior to the registration deadline.
