Prerequisite: 2 years law office experience recommend. This course examines the various types of business ownerships, placing particular emphasis on corporate/administrative procedures involved in preparing and filing articles of incorporation, organizing a corporation by way of a minute book, preparing/filing relevant incorporation related documents relating to the composition of a corporation, financing issues and relevant searches and share purchase agreements. Students should be familiar with the Act(s) governing the formation and operation of a corporation. Students must register through ILCO to write the final exam, scheduled for June 29, 2020. Tuition fee includes the cost of the syllabus which will be provided online.
Post-secondary equivalent: LAW 1203, LAW 2205
