Project management software greatly increases the ability of the project manager to work more efficiently. The functions of project planning and scheduling, resource allocation and costing, progress monitoring and reporting are explored in detail. Through applying project software tools and techniques students develop the skills required to successful projects.
This course is eligible for PDU and contact hours with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Please visit www.pmi.org to review their submission process. For students submitting PDU hours and require support completing the talent triangle portion please contact the Continuing Education office.
Course software requirements: MS Project 2016. Student access to MS Project 2016 software for the duration of the 14 week course is critical to the success of the course.
