Sewing-Drapery Making 2

Building on knowledge and skills gained in Drapery Making 1, you will learn how to measure, cut, sew and finish cushion covers with various closures, a duvet cover, a box/kick pleated valance, a dust skirt and grommet top drapes. You will make your own piping and select and use various drapery and home décor notions and accessories. You will select, design and construct a drapery or home décor item for an individual major project. Some time will be spent on calculating the cost of custom made projects. By the end of the course you will have completed a unique full scale drapery or home décor item, professionally finished. Please bring a note book to the first class. Other supplies required for the course will be discussed then. Cost will depend on your choices.

Tuition includes a $10 non-tax deductible fee.
