This hands-on introductory workshop will introduce you to the world of close up/macro photography. This type of photography is becoming more and more popular and opens up a whole new creative world to the photographer. You will look at the different ways to get up close to your subject, how to light your subject, controlling depth of field, and finding suitable subjects to photograph up close, plus a variety of tips that will help you to photograph insects, plants and still life objects. Be sure to bring your camera, tripod (if you have one) and any close up equipment that you might own for some hands on practice. Note: you do not need to own a macro lens for this workshop. This class is suitable for digital SLR and mirrorless cameras only.
