Equip managers with effective tools to build strong teams and achieve objectives. Fundamentals of Leadership (FLP) certificate program.

Alternative problem solving skills are the basis for leadership success in contemporary organizations. In this course, participants work on alternate problem solving skills, while learning the subtle nuances of employing and developing emotional intelligence. Participants prepare and present a solution to a real-life business problem, and are provided with the opportunity to have their plan peer reviewed. Appreciative inquiry is emphasized through the development of emotional intelligence responses using real-life scenarios, interpretation, application and evaluation.

    You must take the first course in this program before taking this course. This three-part program leads to an Algonquin College Certificate in Fundamentals of Leadership

  • Enrollment for this course will close 1 week prior to the course start date. No late enrollments will be permitted.
  • This course is delivered virtually through an interactive online platform in conjunction with Algonquin College. You require access to a computer with high-speed internet and camera for the duration of each class.   • Withdrawals are only accepted up to 5 business days prior to the course start date (withdrawal fees will apply). No refunds or withdrawals are permitted after this date.
