Leading Crisis Communications

Own your narrative and manage issues before they manage you. Everyday, our newsfeeds are filled with examples of companies facing cyberattack breaches, weather events such as flooding or tornadoes, industrial plant emergencies, sexual harassment accusations and workplace injuries or fatalities. With the knowledge gained in this course, you will have the tools and tactics to reach the public, and integrate communications best practices into your risk and crisis emergency management programs before the onset of crisis. Discover how to lead in a crisis communications and ensure that the right message gets to the right people, through the right medium at the right time.

Enrollment for this course will close one day prior to the course start date. No late enrollments will be permitted.

Withdrawals are only accepted up to 10 business days prior to the course start date (withdrawal fees will apply). No refunds or withdrawals are permitted after this date.

This course is delivered virtually through an interactive online platform in conjunction with Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). You require access to a computer with high-speed internet, camera, and headset for the duration of each class.
