In today’s interconnected world, organizations need to be able to engage with stakeholders, the public and internally, especially when crises emerge. Discover leading practices and the essential role of crisis communications. With the knowledge gained in this course, you will be able to apply proven research-based models, case study reviews, and the elements of crisis communication to your organization’s narrative. Delve into the elements needed to be an effective communicator and understand the mechanics of being a spokesperson during crises. Graduates of this course will be more prepared for disaster by exploring the array of situations and driving factors from which crises can arise.

  • Withdrawals are only accepted up to 10 business days prior to the course start date (withdrawal fees will apply). No refunds or withdrawals are permitted after this date.
  • This course is delivered virtually through an interactive online platform in conjunction with Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). You require access to a computer with high-speed internet, camera, and headset for the duration of each class.
