Designing Corporate Learning Experiences (Micro-credential)

The Designing Impactful Learning micro-credential focuses on the principles and skills needed to build learning opportunities geared for adults in the professional business environment. By leveraging real-world scenarios, students align engaging content to measurable business outcomes. Areas of concentration are utilizing a design document, discovering a variety of assessment types, and exploring best practices for delivery methods. Students also design measurable and engaging learning solutions to resolve a business performance gap.

  • A digital badge will be awarded upon the completion of this micro-credential.
  • This micro-credential is part of the suspended“Corporate Training Specialization” stacked micro-credential. By successfully competing all fivemicro-credentials you can apply to receive the “ Corporate Training Specialization ” stacked micro-credential.

    MICRO-CREDENTIAL FEATURES:

  • Can be completed in 7 weeks or less
  • Self-directed, asynchronous learning with the support of a facilitator
  • Real-world assessment(s) to evaluate competencies
  • Interactive multimedia components
  • This micro-credential has been developed for individuals with previous work experience
  • Pass / Fail grading structure

    OSAP ELIGIBLITY:

  • This course is delivered over a 7-week period and may be OSAP eligible

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U) OR;
  • Grade 12 equivalency certificate achieved through College academic upgrading OR;
  • Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older) with Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U)

    PROGRAM COMPETENCIES:

    Upon completion of this Micro-credential, students will be equipped to:

  • Design measurable and engaging learning solutions to resolve a business performance gap.
