This course will provide you with the theory and skills that are necessary for effective therapeutic communication, teaching, advocacy, interdisciplinary teamwork, and group facilitation with a variety of mental health clients. You will develop skills utilizing role-play, group work, self-critique and informal peer feedback, as well as more formal evaluations of communication and group theory techniques.
