The demand for cross-platform web-based applications has increased tremendously with the rapid growth of mobile and remote computing. This course is aimed at students who wish to develop professional, database-driven web sites that can be accessed with equal ease from any web-enabled computing device. Students will install the Apache and MySQL servers on the platforms of their choice and develop web-based applications in PHP and SQL.
Software Requirements: Any web browser, text editor, Apache web server http://httpd.apache.org, MySQL database server http://www.mysql.com, PHP interpreter http://www.php.net/
