Micro-credential (stacked)
Program Description
Designed for health and social service professionals, the Managing Responsive Behaviours in Older Adults stacked micro-credential program prepares learners to manage responsive behaviours when caring for older adults with dementia in residential or community care settings.
Comprised of three distinct micro-credentials, participants will learn to recognize the range and complexity of responsive behaviours in older adults with dementia, prevent triggers of responsive behaviours in older adults with dementia, and use strategies to safely and appropriately prevent escalation of responsive behaviours of older adults with dementia.
Learners obtain a digital badge after successfully completing each micro-credential. A stacked micro-credential badge attests to the completion of all three micro-credentials.
A digital badge will be awarded upon successful completion of this Stacked Micro-credential. After successful completion of all courses in the Program of Study you must notify us via email at pplbadges@durhamcollege.ca. Once verified, a digital badge will be issued to you.
