Students gain a fundamental understanding of trade-related calculations. Throughout the course, students solve problems using fractions, decimals and algebraic equations. In addition, they solve geometric calculations involving perimeter, area, volume, and trade-related problems using Pythagorean Theorem and right-angled trigonometry.
Students must sign on to DC Connect at http://www.durhamcollege.ca/connect using their student number and password (birthdate MMDDYR) to access the online courses. You will not be able to access the course until the start date. Please allow 24 hours after registration for the system to update.
Course is an approved Math course of 3 credit hours.
