Change Management Practitioner Certification

Learn the professional knowledge expected of an effective change manager.

A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, be able apply change management approaches and techniques to real change initiatives. The individual's change management expertise, the complexity of the change initiative and supports available to apply change management approaches, are all factors that impact the level of change that the Practitioner will be able to achieve. The student must have successfully completed the Foundation certification to be eligible to take the Practitioner exam.

Topics covered in the course include: Performance Outcomes; Developing the individuals' learning to enable change; Managing change within the project environment; Delivering sustainable change; and Preparing for the Practitioner exam.

This course is delivered virtually through an interactive online platform in conjunction with Algonquin College. You require access to a computer with high-speed internet and camera for the duration of each class. Registration for this course will close 2 weeks before the course scheduled start date.

Exam(s) are taken online after the course is completed. You will be provided guidance and authorization to arrange an exam at a time that fits your schedule.

Pre-course Requirements

Participants will complete reading “The Changer Manager's Handbook” prior to attending class. The book is part of the course package and will be sent to participants upon enrolment. Two hours of study per evening should be expected throughout the course.
