PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is the world’s most established method for project management and is globally recognized for delivering successful projects.

PRINCE2 guides you through the stages of a project’s lifecycle, bringing structure and a common language to your projects. It represents the “how to” of project management: it is flexible, scalable, and can be tailored to meet your specific requirements. PRINCE2 is based upon the tried and tested experience of project management practitioners around the world and provides the themes, principles, and processes to deliver successful projects of any size and complexity.

The course dates on this page include both the Foundation and Practitioner Certification and take 5 days to complete. If you wish to split up the two portions, you can purchase them separately using the course links for Prince2 Foundation Certification and Prince2 Practitioner Certification.

Who Should Attend
PRINCE2 7 has been developed to be accessible to anyone who needs critical project management skills, to deliver successfully in any role. PRINCE2 7 is for you, if you are:

  • A Project Manager (certified or uncertified), using a specific project management method, or a Programme Manager,
  • Portfolio Manager, Head of PMO, Change Manager, Head of Operations, PMO Support, or PMO Analyst,
  • A professional who needs project management skills in your everyday work life e.g. HR/Payroll Manager, Engineer,
  • Architect, Service Designer, Software Developer, Marketing Executive, Finance administrator, or Product Manager.

    PRINCE2 FOUNDATION CERTIFICATION - 3 Days
    The Foundation Level certification introduces the PRINCE2 method and aims to confirm that you know and understand the PRINCE2 method well enough to be able to work effectively with or as a member of a project management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2. Successful completion of the Foundation exam is a pre-requisite for the Practitioner certification. Having some knowledge of project management is beneficial. We will provide you with a copy of the PRINCE2 7th Edition textbook, so that you can complete the required pre-reading.

    PRINCE2 PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION - 2 Days
    The Practitioner certification aims to confirm that you have sufficient knowledge and understanding to apply and tailor the method in a range of different project environments and scenarios.

  • Enrollment for this course will close 2 weeks prior to the course start date. No late enrollments will be permitted.
  • There is pre-reading required for this course. The textbook will be provided one week prior to the course start date.
  • Additional work outside of class hours will be required throughout the course.
  • This course is delivered virtually through an interactive online platform in conjunction with Algonquin College. You require access to a computer with high-speed internet and camera for the duration of each class. By enrolling in this course, you consent to the sharing of your personal information with Algonquin College for registration purposes.
  • An exam voucher is included with the cost of the course for both exams.
  • Withdrawals are only accepted up to 10 business days prior to the course start date (withdrawal fees will apply). No refunds or withdrawals are permitted after this date.

    Take2 Re-sit Exam Service is included with this course:
    This course includes the Take2 re-sit exam service. That means if you are unsuccessful in taking either exam, you can re-sit (retake) your exam within 6 months of your initial exam date. You will be notified by e-mail that a re-sit exam is available and you will be invited to schedule it and take it exclusively through PeopleCert Online Proctoring from the comfort of your home or office (webcam required).
