Security Assessment and Vulnerability Management

Code:
SECT 1985

Bolster your cybersecurity through the use of security assessment and vulnerability management strategies and tools. With skills gained in this course, you will be able to perform security vulnerability assessments at an enterprise level.

Security assessments provide your security posture: a measurement that allows your organization to anticipate future security breaches. Graduates of this course will be able to describe security assessments and evaluate systems, applications, networks, policies, and procedures to discover, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities.

As a graduate of this course, you will be able to ensure your existing security controls are effective by using vulnerability assessment and penetration testing to monitor, identify, and manage threats. You will also be able to use a set of methodologies to combine risk assessments and information security assessments.
