Develop your writing by improving editing skills and use minimal words to communicate messages effectively.

Business writing is only effective when it is accurate. Learn how to get the most out of your writing by improving your editing skills and knowing how to minimize your sentences so that they are straightforward and right to the point. In this 2-day workshop you'll learn to write from your reader's perspective, tell your story, and deliver your message so that it is memorable and has impact.

Attend This Workshop If You Would Like to:

  • Want to produce clearly written text
  • Would like to learn how professional writers approach business writing
  • Wish to improve and refresh your writing
  • Write proposals, reports, articles, speeches, news releases or any kind of business communication as part of your professional duties

    After the workshop, you will be able to:

  • Recognize the elements of "good" writing.
  • Increase productivity by eliminating writer's block.
  • Identify and eliminate writing weaknesses.

  • This course is delivered virtually through an interactive online platform in conjunction with Algonquin College. You require access to a computer with high-speed internet and camera for the duration of each class. By enrolling in this course, you consent to the sharing of your personal information with Algonquin College for registration purposes.
  • Withdrawals are only accepted up to 3 business days prior to the course start date (withdrawal fees will apply). No refunds or withdrawals are permitted after this date.
