SSW Field Placement III and Seminar

This course consists of 168 hours field placement plus 28 hours of field placement seminar. Field Placement 3 & Seminar facilitates the continued growth and development of the student into a job ready social services worker. Students are required to complete the assigned hours of field work in a community setting which provides direct client service. In the seminar portion of the course, the primary focus will be on essential employability skills necessary to transition into employment within the social services field.

Students should ensure they are following the Program of Study for the year they began the SSW Diploma program.

Field Placement Instructions

Registration for this course will appear as 'closed' on our website. Permission from the placement officer is required to register for these courses. The approval is based on the successful and timely submission of all pre-placement/observation paperwork.
