This course will equip you with the tools and confidence to work compassionately and competently with older adults in diverse settings.
Students should ensure they are following the Program of Study for the year they began the SSW Diploma program.
For students who are following a POS with a requirement to complete 1 of 2 specialization streams, this is the 2nd course in the Gerontology specialization. Students registered into this course should have already successfully completed the pre-requisite course - SOCI 2184 - Special Populations: Introduction to Gerontology.
