This course examines a variety of crisis intervention theories and their application to diverse mental health settings. The focus will be on holistic mental status assessments of clients in crisis situations. Assorted interventions will be explored for each stage of crisis. You will be prepared to recognize and discuss how to manage rapidly changing situations, advocate for clients formally and informally, and participate in political processes to promote quality services for mental health clients.
Tuition includes $87 non-tax deductible fee.
