This course introduces you to special topics in Mental Health Nursing. Topics include: Violence and Abuse, Forensic Nursing, Concurrent Disorders (Substance Abuse and Mental Illness), Community Mental Health Nursing, and Bereavement. At the end of the course, you will be encouraged to further explore their areas of interest in each of these specialty areas.
Tuition includes $87 non-tax deductible fee. Note: Students must sign on to DC Connect at http://www.durhamcollege.ca/connect using their student number and password (birthdate MMDDYR) to access the online courses. You will not be able to access the course until the start date. Please allow 24 hours after registration for the system to update.
