ACE+ Technical Math

The Technology Mathematics course builds on and expands the fundamental algebraic skills mastered in Core Mathematics. The objective of the course is to teach students the necessary mathematical skills in preparation for technical/math focused post-secondary college programs. After successful completion of the learning outcomes students will be able to use their skills to solve applied problems involving linear/polynomial/rational/exponential expressions and equations, logarithmic functions, rational and complex numbers, trigonometry, measurement and geometry. The course will involve the use of both calculators and technology specific software.

Notes:

Effective January, 2013 students registered to take an ACE Distance course through the tuition-free option managed by the College Sector Committee who have not logged on within 13 days of the start of the course will be removed from the course. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the CSC at info@cscau.com. If you are removed from a course you will not be able to register for any further ACE Distance courses as a tuition-free student.

Note that a final grade of at least 70% in the course is required to be eligible for registration in another free ACE Distance course, and/or to use the course toward attainment of the ACE certificate.
