Assessing Performance Needs (Micro-credential)

The Assessing Performance Needs micro-credential focuses on the identification and application of steps, tools and strategies for conducting a performance needs assessment. By engaging in a variety of practice activities and scenarios, students identify business needs, uncover root performance concerns, use different assessment tools and techniques to conduct a gap analysis, assess potential solutions and recommend actions to resolve performance needs.

  • A digital badge will be awarded upon the completion of this micro-credential.
  • This micro-credential is part of the suspended “Corporate Training Specialization” stacked micro-credential. By successfully competing all five micro-credentials you can apply to receive the “ Corporate Training Specialization ” stacked micro-credential.

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U) OR;
  • Grade 12 equivalency certificate achieved through College academic upgrading OR;
  • Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older) with Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U)

    PROGRAM COMPETENCIES:

    Upon completion of this Micro-credential, students will be equipped to:

  • Conduct a performance needs analysis to generate solutions and recommendations.
