This online micro-credential will explore the foundational skills and knowledge to successfully operate a contracting small business. Learners will explore how to manage job sites, small teams, and project plans. They will learn the importance of budgeting time and money in order to complete high quality job profitability, all while adhering to industry standards.

    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U) OR;
  • Grade 12 equivalency certificate achieved through College academic upgrading OR;
  • Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older) with Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 Math (C, M or U)

    PROGRAM COMPETENCIES:

    Upon completion of this Micro-credential, students will be equipped to:

  • Operate a profitable and viable construction contracting small business.
