Diversity and Cultural Humility

This course will help students examine and understand the concepts of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, intersectionality, and biases as they relate to individuals and groups from various lived and living experiences. They will gain a deep understanding of identity and its connection to power and privilege, examine the experiences of individuals and groups using anti-oppression frameworks, and develop an awareness of and appreciation for cultural humility to foster a greater understanding of clients.
